Modelling of chromospheric lines as observed during a C-class solar flare
Using non-LTE radiation hydrodynamics code FLARIX, we attempt to model chromospheric lines, namely H-alpha, Ca II, and Mg II lines, and their time evolution during the impulsive phase of the C-class flare on Nov 11, 2014. A scenario of a cool upflow was recently adopted to interpret the observed Mg II lines. We discuss formation of such a cool upflow region in the flaring atmosphere heated by an electron beam and show its influence on the chromospheric lines.
