Thermal Structure of Supra-Arcade Plasma in Solar Flares

In this work, we use Hinode/XRT and SDO/AIA data to determine the spatio-thermal structure of supra-arcade plasma in some solar flares. We calculate differential emission measures in individual pixels using two techniques: the iterative method provided in the XRT SolarSoft tree, and the Convex Hull method. We find that downflow features have discernable thermal signatures.
