SOLAR-C Project

SOLAR-C is a next generation of Japanese solar physics satellite. Hinode (SOLAR-B) has brought us unprecedentedly high quality observations of the Sun, which are stimulating a wide variety of studies on solar activities and terrestrial environment. Following the great success of Hinode, SOLAR-C Working Group at ISAS/JAXA and SOLAR-C Preparatory Office at NAOJ are together developing the mission concept of SOLAR-C to resolve fundamental questions on the Sun.
